Boudoir photography is all about empowerment and loving yourself. It’s about stripping away your insecurities and truly accepting who you are in this moment. Boudoir does not have a specific size, age, shape, or look – it is for every woman.

I’m so glad you asked. The process is super simple. The first step is to contact me to get the process started. After that, you’'ll select your session date and pay your booking fee. Super simple.

Typically I book 2-3 months in advance. In general, if you are looking to have physical products by a certain date, you should schedule your session at least 8 weeks in advance of your deadline. Please keep this in mind if you are planning a session for a specific celebration date. Modern Beauty Boudoir schedules very limited sessions per month to provide every client with the best experience possible. For this reason I schedule sessions up to 8 months in advance.

Please plan for 3-4 hours in the studio. Hair and makeup will take approximately 90 minutes. Your session can take up to 2 hours. I like to plan for a little extra time so there is no rush.

Most sessions take place in my residential studio, but I do offer outdoor on-location sessions throughout Northern California. Hair and makeup, which is provided with every session, is done on location. If you would like to schedule your session for a location other than my studio, please let me know so we can make those arrangements.

Your viewing and ordering appointment is where you’ll see your images for the first time and decide how you want to display all of your beautiful photographs. Your viewing and ordering appointment will be scheduled after your session, usually 1-2 weeks later. This is your only opportunity to order products. Any images not ordered will be deleted permanently. Payment is due in full at this time.

Of course not! There is absolutely no pressure to go nude for your session.

Yes. As a general rule, I will remove temporary things like blemishes and leave things that are permanent, unless a client specifically requests different. All ordered images will come skin retouched.

After your session has been scheduled, you will receive our client information guide that covers this and all of the information you will need to have a successful session.

Please bring at least one bodysuit and one bra and panty set that you absolutely love. Also bring a nude thong in case we use anything from our client closet. A pair of black and nude pumps are a plus, but not necessary.

Please avoid bringing any props, sports jerseys, or his clothing. These types of items are not reflective of my style and take the attention off of you. You will receive a full client guide with all the information you need to have a successful session upon booking.

Only if you give permission. I 100% value the privacy of my clients and I would never share any images online or on social media without my client’s explicit consent. During your viewing and ordering appointment, we will go over our studio release. You will have several options including: a full release, a partial release (the images you choose), an anonymous release, studio samples only, or you may choose to waive it entirely and keep your photos just for you.

Your session fee covers your pre-consultation, your session, professional hair and makeup, access to Modern Beauty Boudoir’s Client Closet, editing and retouching of your images and your 1 hour viewing and ordering appointment. All products, including digitals, are purchased separately at your viewing and ordering appointment.

Modern Beauty Boudoir offers a full line of luxury, custom albums, fine art metals, heirloom glass boxes that hold all the pictures from your session, and crystal usb with your digital gallery.

After your viewing and ordering appointment, it will take up to 8 weeks to receive your products depending on what products or collection you order.

Absolutely!! Let me worry about posing. I will guide you through the whole process. We will go over a list of prompts before your session and I will physically get into any pose you need me to so you have a better idea of what I am asking you to do. All you need to worry about is showing up. I’ll handle the rest.
