Boudoir videos go far beyond what can be captured with traditional boudoir photography. As one of the few boudoir photographers who offer boudoir films, not only in California but in the entire country, Modern Beauty Boudoir is proud to be able to set our studio apart. One question I get asked all the time is, “Do I have to share my photos online?” And the answer is, ABSOLUTELY NOT. While I am so grateful and absolutely thrilled when the beautiful women I work with give me permission to share their pictures online, it is by no means a requirement to have a session with Modern Beauty Boudoir. I would never share any images online or on social media without my client’s explicit consent.

Boudoir is a very specialized genre of photography that takes an incredible amount of knowledge and training. Boudoir photography is not a genre any photographer can decide to provide. With boudoir, you need a photographer with experience. Below I have outlined a few things to consider before booking your boudoir session.

My number one wardrobe rule is: Do NOT bring outfits that you don’t love! But, there’s one piece of lingerie that I recommend every woman brings to her boudoir session. I like to refer to it as the MAGIC suit because it literally flatters every body. The piece of lingerie I recommend to every woman is the bodysuit.

I can't tell you how honored I feel when a woman shares her vulnerability with me. When she can feel scared shitless, but trust me enough to do it anyways. The longer I pursue my photography career, the bolder I am with my work and the way I see you. I want you to look back at your images, and *feel* something. I want you to feel something beyond adoration for your outfit or how bomb your makeup was. I want you to look at your portraits and think: "this was the day I did something I thought I couldn't do.

I know what you're thinking. I can't do this. I don't look like the women on your website. I'm too [insert what thing you believe defines you here] but guess what? This experience doesn't care about your age, weight, relationship status, or any other thing you think that defines you. This experience is meant to meet you right where you are.

As a boudoir photographer, I've dug deep within myself to uncover why boudoir is important--why it's far beyond a way to treat yourself. Throughout your shoot, my number one goal is to help you fill your mind with goodness. To help you quietly release the lies you've believed as the truth about yourself, and help you fall in love with the woman you ARE.
